| Before doing directory submission there are some essential precautions you should take for better results. 1. Check the directory site first in Google.com whether the site is crawling in Google index still or not. If is not in SERP than its not good to do submission in that site. 2. Check website authority like PA and DA in Moz Toolbar by Moz.com. There is no any particular criteria for both parameters, but it is recommended to do submission in the sites with DA/PA above 15-20. 3. Check for any adult or porn content, advertisement, links on the web directory submission sites. 4. Check for the Active links and Pending links in sites ratio in statistics. 5. Check latest links section of directory site, if there is no any approval since long time than there is no benefits to do submission in that site. 6.
